Art Room Photo Shoot

 I like this picture because it is up close and focuses on the color and the opening and lid of the bottle of paint. And I like how the paint bottle itself is out of focus and there's not much else going on in the picture.

I like this picture because there is quite a bit of stuff going on in the background but the main focus of the picture is the handle. I like how much brighter the handle is and how much more vibrant the colors are in the handle when the actual pot looks extremely dull.

I like how this picture looks because it's a simple background but the orange has a lot of detail and the shadows show up very well.

Digital Self-Portrait Ideas

I think for my final Digital Imaging project I would like to do a self-portrait like the second one. I like how they have combined multiple pictures together and how they're all cartoonish. But I also really like the third one because It's got different areas different colors and textures. I would like to do something like this but do it in one color just blending it from light to dark. And using different textures. I like the first portrait because it's all completely cartooned and it's just one solid color with the outlines of the person, but, it's still got a lot of detail. I would like to do something with this except maybe like a comic? Or with dulled colors instead of just the one color.

My New Animal!(:

This is my Parrabear. I combined a baby polar bear and a yellow, blue and green parrot. I like how this picture turned out. I had to try it a couple times in order for it to work, but in the end I like it. I would like to try some more animals and try more animals that would be more challenging to put together. I think that an animal with scales and an animal with feathers or fur would be more challenging. I liked this project, sort of.

Just Me(:

These are the pictures I took for just me. I took these pictures because they remind me of who I am and why I'm that way. My music and friends are part of what make me and help me get through the day. I like these pictures but I think I could have thought a little more about the angle and way I took these pictures.

Pen Tool(:

This is my pen tool creation. I made a Christmas tree and splotches. I like the color and the organization of it. It was fun to do.

Cut out background

This picture is of my best friend Jessica and her cousin Cey. I cut out all of the background and wrote cowboy up in purple text and overlapped it. I love how it turned out I would like to try with more pictures and fonts.

Pen Tool(:

I love this picture. I used the pen tool && the text tool. I replaced the whole background. I like the texture of it.

Photographer style

I'm going to use my brother and friends for models. I'm going to do it on trick-or-treat night so it looks creepy like Gregory Crewdson's. I'm not going to edit any of them on Photoshop and I'm going to use the light to the best of my ability.

Gregory Crewdson

Gregory Crewdson sets up his own scenes. He does everything manually without using photoshop. In the mid 1980s Crewdson studied photography at SUNY Purchase. He received his Master of Fine Arts from Yale University. He has taught at Sarah Lawrence, Cooper Union, Vassar College and Yale University where he has been on the faculty since 1993. I like Crewdson's work because it's got a story but only you can finish the story. He does everything manually and he doesn't use photoshop which I like. And his pictures don't fail to get your imagination running.

My finished popart(:

This is my completely finished popart. I think it looks pretty good. I could work on my selection tools. Other than that I think it looks pretty cool. I didn't have very many problems with it when I was working on this project. I still have some problems with the coloring, but, other than that it's not bad.

I like how my pop art turned out. I think it would be much better with more practice. I need to practice with the lasso tool. And I need to work on my color choices but I like it.
